i know i havent been a chapter president too long (and i know bob's gonna have a smart ass comment in here somewhere) but i think we all need to get together and think of something to get some more people over here.
me and my VP, Dennis, (SILVER 7) are handing out flyers and we're plannin on tagin some more at local car shows. Dennis is checkin to see about havin some cards made to hand out to people too. and i also have a friend making some chapter decals made as well as some that just say SportTruckWorld.com, there's a thread in the General fourm with a link for where to order them if anyone's interested.
so what kind of things are you guys doin to try and get more members in your chapters?

I have been thinking about getting flyers or cards made up also, BUT my problem is that not sure to start to make them. I probably get with the Ontario Chapter Prez from FTW about doing something about it.

I have a couple possible decals designed for the CA Chapter - had one made and the kid was an idiot so I need to go to a professional. I found a guy who does decals and banners. I also want a banner to fly off my hitch at shows and GTG's. I also plan to make flyers and pass them at a car show we have coming up here in Cali that's sponsored by TEN. Hopefully that will spark an interest and get this place goin'

I went to vistaprint.com and ordered free business cards. I paid like $5.95 for shipping and handling for 250.
I place these on the driver's door of trucks I run accross wherever I go.

i have cards too ive had some people sign up but they are not getting thire email confirmation...so they dont post or anything... but still handing them out i work at a refinery so i hand out ALOT of cards...it does work though...

well bob i took your idea and ran with it. i decided to order some cards like that for the OK Chapter yesterday and i should have them by the end of the month. i took your basic idea and made some minor changes, picked a different design and re-worded it but i think it will work. i've still got the flyers i designed too just in case i feel like throwing them around instead of the cards. i guess my first major quest with them will be the car show in ft gibson the middle of june

that was quick, let me tell ya. i ordered the cards on the 10th and when i went home for lunch today there was this little box on top of my mail box. the site said 3 weeks and i got em in 1, glad i didnt pay extra to get em sooner... there was no need to
